About the Opportunity:The Management Analyst I supports professional administrative, financial, and operational functions in the Washington County Counsel's Office. This role is responsible for accounts payable and receivable processing, contract administration, service account management, budget tracking, and other assigned operational tasks. The position contributes to maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with established procedures, and supporting efficient departmental operations.

- Government budgeting methods, including preparation and administration techniques
- Communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing
- Independently respond to and resolve issues; exercise sound judgment
- Research and analyze financial, budgetary, operational, and organizational problems, evaluate alternatives, and develop well-supported recommendations
- Perform basic accounting tasks with accuracy
- Maintain organized files, records, and documentation
- Build and sustain effective working relationships with individuals and groups from various backgrounds, including the public, other government agencies, coworkers, and vendors

Minimum Qualifications Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in public or business administration, finance, economics, statistics, accounting or a related field that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities; OR
- Associate's Degree in public or business administration, finance, economics, statistics, accounting or a related field that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities; AND two (2) years of responsible professional work experience in administrative, operations, budgetary, financial, or similar analysis; OR
- Four (4) years of responsible work experience in administrative, operations, budgetary, and similar analyses.
