As a Management Analyst, applies experience and comprehensive knowledge of the analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to assess management processes and organizational techniques. Serves as the coordinator and focal point for AJT's records, forms and directives management programs. This work is critical to the efficient operation of AJT administrative programs.
Analyzes and evaluates new documents and updates that include changes to policies, procedures, and processes affecting the National Airspace System to confirm compliance with directives policies.
Applies experience using knowledge of management resources such as Share-Point/KSN trackers and tools, central files, and other automated tools to develop and recommend improvements to systems and processes. Resolves most problems and work issues without the assistance of a manager, project/program manager, team leader, or more experienced professional. Develops and recommends approaches to address current and anticipated problems and issues. Works with management and/or more experienced professionals to solve problems.
Applies knowledge of FAA and ATO policies to analyze and evaluate records management data and review official file records against approved record schedules to verify that records are current, scheduled, and that files are in accordance with their applicable file plan. Provides record data analysis to assist in the preparation of records, compiling required documentation and record boxes for transfer or retirement and ensures that records are disposed according to records disposition instructions. Conducts periodic assessments and quality control reviews/audits to measure effectiveness of current records management practices and to identify improvement opportunities.
Coordinates documents, tracks them through the review and clearance process, and maintains the official case file. Reviews technical material to assist specialists and writers in the review process and in resolving non-concurrence issues. Interprets applicable laws and regulations to ensure that Federal employees and members of the public with disabilities have access to and use of information and data that is comparable to individuals without disabilities.
Contacts are internal and external. May act as a point of contact to provide advice and guidance on the applications of policies and procedures. May be called upon to communicate FAA positions on policies and procedures internally and externally.
Established policies/procedures provide guidance for most assignments, but allow considerable discretion for employee to select the most appropriate approach(es) or develop new approaches. Work is reviewed typically through status reports and at project completion, to ensure policy compliance and alignment with the requirements of projects and/or other work activities.

To qualify for this position, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to FV-H, FG/GS-12. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.
Specialized Experience is:Experience using databases to study operational trends and to track, monitor, and analyze data to develop monthly, quarterly, and interim reports for management.
