Job Description & Summary
The Epic Experienced Associate supports the design, configuration, testing, implementation, and ongoing optimization of assigned Epic applications. This role partners with operational stakeholders, subject matter experts (SMEs), and IT teams to gather requirements, improve workflows, and support system enhancements. The Epic Experienced Associate contributes to application build and maintenance activities, participates in project work, supports upgrades, and helps ensure system reliability and user adoption. This is a professional individual contributor role working under general supervision, with increasing responsibility for independent work.

Analysis / Design
- Participate in needs assessments and gather business/clinical requirements
- Assist in designing and configuring Epic workflows aligned to operational needs
- Collaborate with SMEs to improve workflow efficiency and resolve system issues
- Support functional and integrated testing, including test script development
- Assist in user access/security configuration under established governance
- Support migration of build to production environments
Clinical / Business Knowledge
- Develop working knowledge of assigned clinical or business operations
- Partner with operational teams to support workflow design and system enhancements
- Participate in meetings to provide application expertise and support
Testing
- Performs unit testing of all need build they are assigned and assists other application analyst as needed.
- Perform functional and integrated testing of software to ensure that design objectives are met, including development and validation of testing scripts.
Maintenance/Support
- Supports and troubleshoots interfaces for inbound/outbound transaction errors; helps monitor interface error queues.
- Troubleshoots application issues, with/without vendor assistance to resolution.
- Adheres to change control processes per best practice and processes defined to protect the system(s).
Administrative Documentation Requirements
- Develops policies and procedures in collaboration with clinicians, other system analyst team members, and IT Epic team manager
- Creates and maintains system documentation; ensuring that documentation is updated accurately and timely.

What You Must Have

-Bachelor's Degree
- 1 year of experience

- At least 1 year of experience in US Healthcare
- Any Epic certification
- Knowledge of US healthcare workflows, including clinical, revenue cycle or operational
- Knowledge of technical product roadmaps and determines support requirements
- Team orientation and proven ability to work across boundaries up and down the organization
- Innovative problem-solving skills and excellent written, briefing, and communication skills
- Knowledge of industry standards and audit requirements
- Prioritizing workloads, meeting deadlines, managing several broad-scope projects at one time, and utilizing time effectively for staff and self

- Project management skills for cross-team and internal projects

Job Posting End Date

The salary range for this position is: $63,000 - $140,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
