Job DescriptionSummary of Essential Duties:
As a Mammography Technologist II, you will perform a broad range of scans/procedures from basic to somewhat complex relative to a specific patient population and may assist physicians in performing procedures as well as transport medications from the delivery area to an authorized imaging area. This includes needle and radar localizations, as well as stereotactic breast biopsies. You will exercise your cultural competency in providing patient education and maintain a safe environment by identifying and reporting any safety concerns.
QualificationsEducation:
- Graduate of an accredited Mammography program required
License/Certifications:
- ARRT(R) certification required
- ARRT(M) preferred
- State of California Radiology and Mammography certifications required
- BLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required
Experience:
- A minimum of 1 year of Mammography experience required
- Applicants with less than 1 year of experience may be considered as a Mammography Tech I
