SAIC has an immediate opening for a Major Systems Acquisition (MSA) Specialist to provide direct customer support on a critical development effort. This opportunity is to be part of a dynamic team where your expertise and solution-oriented mindset will contribute towards mission success. We are seeking a candidate who will:

  • Develop, draft, and coordinate overarching program planning and execution documents in support of MSAs
  • Facilitate program reviews (including program wide quarterly reviews) coordinating and compiling inputs from a large number of stakeholders
  • Participate in technical interchange meetings with customer program and vendor stakeholders
  • Guide and support program acquisitions through formal governance and oversight processes
  • Develop acquisition plans, schedules, and executive program briefings
  • Provide program element coordination among various stakeholders
  • Act with initiative and flexibility to work both individually and in a team environment with limited oversight
  • Anticipate and address customer requirements


Qualifications

  • Must currently hold a TS/SCI and poly in order to be considered for this role
  • Bachelor's Degree, or commensurate experience may be substituted for the degree
  • Minimum of 9 years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated experience in DoD or IC MSA efforts or comparable ACAT I/II programs
  • Strong familiarity with Milestone Decision Authorities and System Review Boards
  • Exceptional oral and written communications for decision makers
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills in order to work collaboratively and effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to multi-task and produce high-quality deliverables within given deadlines.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Experience with MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project

Desired:
  • Bachelor's degree in business management or equivalent business-related discipline
  • 10+ years of experience, including 5+ years of experience supporting MSA or comparable ACAT I/II efforts
  • Ability to travel 10% of the time
