Pay Range: $85,000 to $95,000 annually
We are seeking a relationship-focused
Major Gifts Officer to build and grow a portfolio of major donors and prospects who are passionate about advancing mental health and wellness in our community. This role is responsible for identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding individuals capable of making significant philanthropic investments. The Major Gifts Officer will develop meaningful donor relationships, expand the major donor pipeline, and secure funding that supports Touchstone Mental Health's mission of providing innovative, person-centered mental health services and housing supports.
Key Responsibilities- Build and manage a portfolio of major donors and prospects while maintaining a strong pipeline of future giving opportunities.
- Identify and qualify new donor prospects through research, referrals, events, and community engagement.
- Develop and implement strategies to cultivate, solicit, and steward donors throughout the giving cycle.
- Build and maintain meaningful donor relationships through meetings, calls, events, and ongoing engagement.
- Create donor-focused communications for email campaigns, social media, newsletters, fundraising appeals, and stewardship efforts that highlight programs and services.
- Partner with the Executive Director to develop fundraising strategies, establish annual fundraising goals, and identify new growth opportunities.
- Solicit and secure major gifts, multi-year commitments, and other philanthropic investments that support organizational priorities.
- Serve as a staff liaison to the Development Committee and collaborate with board members on donor engagement and solicitation strategies.
- Maintain accurate donor records and fundraising activity in Givebutter Plus, ensuring timely donor acknowledgment, recognition, and impact reporting.
- Represent Touchstone Mental Health at community events, donor gatherings, partner activities, and the annual Inspire event.
Position Requirements:- Passion for Touchstone Mental Health's mission to person-centered mental health services that foster hope, health, and well-being.
- Proven success securing major gifts, managing donor portfolios, and achieving fundraising goals.
- Strong donor communication and storytelling skills.
- Experience serving as a staff liaison to a board or board committee.
- Experience with donor database/CRM systems; Givebutter Plus experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively in a small team environment.
