Full Job Description
The Role:

We're seeking a passionate and dedicated Maintenance Tech 3 who brings enthusiasm, energy, and expertise to the table. In this role, you'll perform maintenance and repair activities on the facility and equipment, including but not limited to electrical and mechanical operations, while collaborating with a dynamic and diverse team to achieve shared goals. What We're Looking For:
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including AC/DC circuits, motors, contactors, relays, transformers, power supplies, sensors, and safety circuits.
  • Experience with industrial control systems, including PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, servo drives, and motion controls.
  • Knowledge of CNC controls, machine electrical systems, servo systems, spindles, tool changers, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, ladder logic, wiring diagrams, hydraulic diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
  • Mechanical troubleshooting knowledge, including bearings, belts, chains, gearboxes, ball screws, linear systems, pumps, and power transmission equipment.
  • Ability to apply existing technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills to new or unfamiliar equipment.
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety, including Lockout/Tagout and applicable electrical safety requirements.


What You'll Be Doing:
  • Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on CNC machines and other automated manufacturing equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, servo drives, motion controls, and other industrial control systems.
  • Troubleshoot CNC controls, servo systems, spindles, tool changers, and related machine components.
  • Support the installation, startup, commissioning, and continuous improvement of new and existing equipment.
  • Partner with Production Engineering and Manufacturing teams to minimize equipment downtime and improve equipment reliability.

Requirements
  • Fast-paced individual willing to cross-train
  • Experience with industrial controls, CNC maintenance, and able to read schematics
  • Strong electrical background and able to navigate control systems
  • Bonus if you are familiar with hydraulics


Where and When You'll Work:
  • This is an in-person role, located at our East Chicago, IN facility, which is ideal for those who thrive in a hands-on, team-oriented environment.
  • Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to 3:00 pm with occasional overtime and alternating on-call weekends
