IThe salary range for this position is $78,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year, based on experience and qualifications with annual bonus available (variable depending on performance).

Principal Essential Duties & Responsibilities - Ensure all plant equipment is in top operating condition and available for production as needed.
- Organize and plan regular maintenance work on all equipment and systems within the plant.
- Review preventive procedures and evaluate and maximize maintenance processes by collaborating with operations departments to identify problems and requirements.
- Supervise maintenance associates and ensure compliance with company safety regulations, minimizing personal injury risks, environmental impact, and asset damage.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal codes and regulations.
- Select, orient, train, assign, schedule, coach, counsel, and discipline staff.
- Evaluate the functionality and reliability of facility systems and equipment. Improve system performance by studying results and identifying, recommending, and implementing changes, expansions, and additions.
Minimum Education and Experience - Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent technical education.
- 0-3 years of related experience.
- Prior supervisory experience.
- Troubleshooting ability and technical knowledge of production, mechanical, and electrical equipment.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
Physical Requirements and Environmental Factors - May need to move light equipment or supplies and access files, supplies, and equipment.
When in a plant environment:
- Exposure to wet and moist floors, including metal and plastic grating surfaces.
- Exposure to temperatures ranging from 28°F to 100°F with ambient and 100% humidity.
- Handling product at 25°F to 50°F.
- Exposure to noise levels ranging from 50 dB to 110 db.
- Exposure to chemicals used in poultry, food, and processing facilities.
- Frequent exposure to large commercial vehicles, including tractors and trailers.
- Must wear and use protective and safety equipment as required.
