Full Job Description
McKesson is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to support the operation of a highly automated, 270,000+ square foot pharmaceutical distribution center operating 24/7. This position leads maintenance and facilities operations, ensuring the reliability, safety, and performance of automation systems, material handling equipment, building infrastructure, and facility services.

The successful candidate will supervise maintenance personnel, coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities, manage vendor relationships, oversee facility projects, and ensure compliance with safety, security, and regulatory requirements.

Shift Schedule: Sunday - Thursday / 4 pm to completion

What You'll Do
  • Supervise daily maintenance operations supporting a highly automated pharmaceutical distribution center.
  • Lead maintenance activities for conveyors, sortation systems, warehouse control systems, PLC-controlled equipment, and material handling systems.
  • Coordinate preventive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime and operational performance.
  • Manage maintenance technicians and janitorial staff, including scheduling, training, coaching, and performance management.
  • Oversee facility audits, maintenance records, compliance documentation, and asset tracking.
  • Support compliance with OSHA, FDA, DOT, DEA, fire protection, and security requirements.
  • Manage facility security systems, including access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection systems.
  • Oversee vendor relationships, contractor performance, service agreements, and facility support contracts.
  • Lead facility improvement projects, capital upgrades, equipment installations, and repair initiatives.
  • Manage facility cleanliness and maintenance, both internally and externally.
  • Administer MRO inventory, spare parts programs, and maintenance budgets.
  • Support maintenance and safety programs for forklifts, lifts, scrubbers, sweepers, and other powered industrial equipment.
  • Partner with site leadership to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient operations.

Basic Requirements
  • Degree in a related field or equivalent experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3+ years of maintenance, facilities, automation, or industrial operations experience with demonstrated leadership capabilities. turn2search27
  • Experience troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment and automation systems.
  • Experiece supporting conveyors, sortation equipment, warehouse control systems, or material handling equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and automation schematics.
  • Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and facility infrastructure systems.
  • Experience leading maintenance employees, contractors, or technical teams.
  • Experience using CMMS platforms and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced distribution or manufacturing environment.
