Job OverviewIn this position, you will operate within Marvin's team-based environment as an important member of the Maintenance management team. You will set and manage employees to high performance expectations regarding safety, quality, productivity and customer service. You will personally manage and oversee the daily work activities of the employees to ensure that the work being performed aligns with expectations. You will work directly with the employees to understand the work they do, their needs and aspirations. You will guide employees to a culture built on the development of their ideas, expanding creativity, leveraging technology and making positive change.
Your typical day will be fast paced working in collaboration with cross functional teams to achieve organizational success through the efficient and focused support of our assembly processes and facilities. You will provide valuable input for day-to-day decisions regarding safety, quality, crewing and work priorities for the team.
Core Hours: Mon. - Fri 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Overtime work as required to support Teams working OT. Some limited weekend project work as business needs require.
Highlights of your role- Accountable for the safety, training, and performance of the team members.
- Provide direction and oversight regarding required PPE for the tasks at hand.
- Facilitate periodic safety training as required by OSHA, MPCA, NFPA,...etc
- Supervise a team of skilled employees to ensure equipment and infrastructure are performing within established expectations and specifications.
- Coordinate staffing for and guidance of daily work to complete the required support tasks in a timely manner to meet the needs of production.
- Drive improvement in our operations through the use of data driven analysis and metrics. Sharing the opportunities in a collaborative environment with production and support resources as well as outside vendors in order to find solutions to problems we face and attain the maximum positive impact on operations.
- Build stronger teams through coaching, cross training and development discussions with the employees. Allowing us to achieve higher levels of performance, improve our customer service and build bench strength.
- Ensure accuracy of time and attendance records, CMMS, performance reviews, and appropriately manage employee issues.
You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)- Post-secondary degree in applicable field preferred or transferable years of experience in a similar role.
- Prior management training and experience required.
- Working knowledge of industrial compliance regulations including OSHA, Environmental, Electrical, HVAC, Boiler Licensing and Potable Water.
- Journeyman Millwright License preferred but not required
Compensation$75,400 - $100,600 annually
