Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily maintenance activities and schedule preventative maintenance programs.
  • Collaborate with production management for effective resource allocation.
  • Troubleshoot production tool issues for timely repairs.
  • Develop and implement mechanic training programs.
  • Monitor and improve the preventative maintenance program for production equipment.
  • Ensure completion of preventative maintenance sheets on time with necessary follow-ups.
  • Manage spare parts requirements in collaboration with relevant teams.
  • Coordinate with continuous improvement teams to enhance tooling efficiency.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication channels.
  • Work with management to maximize machine utilization and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Job Responsibilities:

Salary Range: $75,000-$110,000

Job Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance activities, plan and schedule preventative maintenance programs.
  • Work with the production management and maintenance lead hands for each set-up classification in the effective assignment of resources to each shift.
  • Troubleshoot problems with current production tools to ensure timely and appropriate repair.
  • Develop and implement effective mechanic training programs.
  • Ensure that standard procedures related to set-up are in place, understood and followed.
  • Monitor and enhance the preventative maintenance program for all production equipment.
  • Ensure that preventative maintenance sheets are completed appropriately and on time, with the necessary follow-up.
  • Ensure that all spare parts requirements for production equipment have been identified and are maintained between Production, Engineering, Tool Room and the Tool Crib.
  • Coordinate and work with continuous improvement teams in the identification of opportunities for tooling and set-up efficiency.
  • Ensure that strong channels of communication are established and maintained.
  • Work with production management/supervision to ensure the most efficient machine utilization.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards, including maintaining accurate records of all maintenance work and inventory.

  • Demonstrated experience with preventative maintenance program design and delivery.
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals.
  • Strong leadership, problem solving and communication skills are required.
