Would you like to lead and direct daily maintenance operations, setting priorities and coordinating the work of Maintenance Technicians to ensure safe, efficient execution and rapid response to equipment issues?

Job Description
  • Own equipment performance and reliability for the assigned area, including uptime, downtime, and overall system effectiveness, driving actions to maintain optimal operating conditions.
  • Develop, coach, and lead a team of Maintenance Technicians (Levels I-III), ensuring skill progression, accountability, and alignment with the site maintenance skills matrix.
  • Coordinate and direct the diagnosis and repair of complex equipment failures, serving as the point of contact for blocking issues and ensuring effective resolution of high-impact issues.
  • Drive root cause analysis (RCA) and implement sustainable corrective actions to reduce recurring failures and improve long-term equipment reliability.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities with operations, engineering, and other cross-functional teams, aligning priorities, planned downtime, and improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure execution of preventive and predictive maintenance programs, maintaining compliance with standards and continuously improving maintenance strategies.

In a highly automated environment, the team is responsible for maintaining equipment performance, minimizing downtime, and supporting consistent product quality. As part of a greenfield site, the team is also instrumental in building strong foundations for maintenance standards, processes, and team capability.

As a Maintenance Leader, you will be a key driver of this success leading daily operations, developing technician capability, and ensuring equipment reliability from day one. Your leadership will directly impact on how quickly the site stabilizes, how effectively the team performs, and how well the operation scales for future growth.

Do you have what it takes?
  • To succeed in this role, you bring strong technical and leadership experience within a
  • maintenance or automation environment, along with a proven ability to lead teams and deliver results in fast-paced operations.
  • Extensive experience in maintenance in a manufacturing, distribution, or automated environment.
  • Working experience leading maintenance teams or coordinating shift operations.
  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and guide resolution of complex equipment issues.
  • Experience working with automated systems such as conveyors, packaging equipment, or robotics.
  • Familiarity with CMMS systems and structured maintenance processes.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.


Preferred:
  • Technical degree or equivalent experience, certification, apprenticeship, or equivalent hands-on background in maintenance, automation, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting startup, commissioning, or greenfield operations.
  • Exposure to PLC systems (e.g., Allen Bradley, Siemens).
  • Significant experience in consumer-packaged goods, including demonstrable
  • experience with digital content marketing.
  • Strong technical expertise across mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems, with the ability to guide troubleshooting of complex equipment issues.
  • Experience with automated systems, such as conveyors, packaging equipment, robotics, or material handling systems.


Additional
  • Ability to travel globally.

Compensation
The salary for this position has a range of $84,674.00 - $127,010.00 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of benefits, will be communicated upon finalisation of the employment offer.
