Our Upgrading Planning team is looking for an experienced mechanical planning professional, to join us at our Base Plant location!

Minimum Requirements:
• 5 or more years of planning and/or scheduling experience with equivalent technical and operational experience in the industry
• Mechanical trade certificate, diploma or degree
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; advanced SAP proficiency, including work management, materials management, planning, scheduling, and procurement
• Extensive knowledge of rotating and fixed equipment, piping, pumps, compressors and technical drawings
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary work across mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and/or civil discipline is an asset
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, KPI management, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities:
• Develop work packages and plan resources, materials, contractors, and vendors to safely and efficiently execute maintenance activities
• Plan, prioritize, schedule, and monitor maintenance work to achieve safety, quality, cost, reliability, and schedule targets
• Ensure maintenance activities planned comply with regulatory requirements, company standards, OEM recommendations, technical specifications, and safety procedures
• Drive safe, reliable, and cost-effective asset performance by supporting operational integrity, mechanical reliability, environmental performance, and workforce productivity
Location And Other Key Details:
• You will work out of our Base Plant Mine in Fort McMurray, Alberta
• If you reside outside of Fort McMurray, relocation of your primary residence to within 60 km of Fort McMurray is mandatory; relocation support will be provided
• Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday
• Our business professional roles follow internal compensation guidelines and the pay band will generally be based years of experience and scope of work
