Responsibilities: • Adjudicate manage employee STD claims in accordance with legislative requirements and Suncor's case management process and practices • Assess employee fitness to work and communicate restrictions and limitations to the business area • Identify and arrange suitable medical interventions to assist employees in their recovery • Collect information and collaborate with stakeholders to develop an appropriate transitional return to work plan to facilitate safe, timely, and sustainable return to work • Educate and inform key stakeholders on the requirements of short-term and long-term disability programs, including roles, responsibilities, expectations, and consequences • Exercise ethical and professional judgment in determining the appropriate collection, use, and disclosure of personal health information • Maintain up-to-date and accurate electronic documentation and internal records Location and other Key Details: • This is an office-based role. You will work out of our Calgary head office, located in the Suncor Energy Centre at 150 - 6th Ave S.W. • Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday • Our business professional roles follow internal compensation guidelines, and the pay band will generally be based years of experience and scope of work Think we are a fit?
