Qualifications

• Proven safety leadership and a strong record of safe work practices.
• College or University degree in a related field or Journeyman certification with significant industrial experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience or 10+ years if certified as a Journeyman.
• Strong understanding of the dynamics between management, maintenance, and production operations.
• Excellent planning, prioritizing, and organizational skills.
• Experience with CMMS in an industrial setting, demonstrating technical proficiency.
• High level of computer skills, particularly with JDE, Excel, and MSOffice, and ability to learn new software.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize safety in all work order planning activities.
• Plan and schedule maintenance work for electricians, mechanics, and contractors.
• Collaborate with Maintenance and Production Supervisors on work orders and scheduling.
• Conduct weekly meetings to discuss maintenance priorities and timelines.
• Define safe procedures and best practices necessary for work orders.
• Estimate job hours, parts, and resources accurately for maintenance tasks.
• Maintain and manage the work order backlog continuously during planning periods.
• Keep accurate records in the CMMS for future reference and tracking.
• Train maintenance and operations staff on effective CMMS use and maintenance procedures.
• Monitor and manage repair and maintenance costs to stay within the budget.
