Overview

The Maintenance Planner/Scheduler is responsible for coordinating and optimizing maintenance and construction work activities. This role works closely with project managers, engineers, field personnel, and internal stakeholders to develop effective work plans, ensure data accuracy, monitor progress, and proactively identify and mitigate risks. Success in this role requires strong technical planning capabilities combined with excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed plans and schedules for maintenance and construction activities
  • Review, validate, and ensure accuracy and completeness of work notifications
  • Create, manage, and track work orders (WOs) and purchase orders (POs)
  • Maintain data integrity by identifying and correcting system discrepancies
  • Support assigned maintenance and construction areas within the SAP system
  • Participate in daily and weekly coordination meetings with field teams and stakeholders
  • Monitor work progress and provide timely updates and status reports
  • Assist with reporting, documentation, and overall coordination of operational activities
  • Identify potential risks or delays and collaborate with stakeholders to implement solutions


Qualifications

  • Experience in planning, scheduling, maintenance, or construction environments
  • Oil and gas industry experience
  • SAP experience required
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong analytical and data management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-focused mindset
  • Ability to lead discussions and communicate effectively in group settings, including virtual meetings (MS Teams with multiple participants)
