Job Summary:

As a Maintenance Planner/ Parts Room Specialist, youwillperform all maintenance planning/scheduling functions and support the Management of Computerized Maintenance Management System(CMMS).As well as provide leadership and guidance to the stockroom, and maintenance team, to perform duties to procure, account, receive, and supply parts to the site.This includes the planning & scheduling activities of the Plant Equipment, Facilities, Utilities, and all associated Equipment that supports the business. To assist in assigned projects, and cover supervisor absences as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Willingness and ability to adhere to and promote plant values.
  • Manage Work Orders, work request and preventative maintenance module and update whenrequired
  • Work withMaintenance Team to schedule and assign planned work orders
  • Weekly report of all work performed and downloading into MP2 (CMMS)
  • Ensure all received documents of completed work orders filed in proper and required
  • Schedule planned contractor work related to the facility and Plant equipment
  • Utilizing a continuous improvement mindset, assist in identifying opportunities to improve processes and procedures.
  • Assist in maintaining parts and supplies inventoryto Purchase and Parts Department to ensure necessaryrebuiId items available for preventive actions.
  • Read, analyze and interpret technicalprocedures, mechanical/electrical schematics, service manuals and work orders to perform, plan, and schedule required services.
  • Create and generate preventive maintenance actions inalignment withthe department Managers and Supervisors.
  • Maintain and update MP2 program, including entering new equipment and locations
  • Maintain and update MP2 program, including creation of new accounts and facilitymembers
  • Responsible for food safety, pre-requisite programs and food quality related to designated area.
  • Report anyfood safety and food qualityrelated issues to management immediatel
  • Prepare RFP's for spare parts, replenishment orders and supplies
  • Develops supplier scoring and bidIist to obtain competitive pricing/quotes
  • Thorough understanding of ERP systems and ability to use these functions for effective procurement, and inventorycontro
  • Understand operational urgency, supports productionneeds, and canbe available off hours for assistance in emergencies that require rush orders.
  • Communicates withMaintenance Leadership anyconditionthat prevents the manufacturing of products to establish standards.
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices and report anyfood safety and food quality related issues to management immediatel

Education and Experience:
  • Associate degree with at least 3 to 5+ years' experience inmanufacturing and purchasing preferred
  • 5+ years' experience withMRP procurement, inventorycontrol, and vendor selection criteria
  • Experience working with outside vendors, and contractors, to direct theirfocus and attentionto purchasing needs.
  • Experience working as a maintenance planner-schedul
Skills and Competencies:
  • Able to dealwithfrequent change, delays or unexpected events
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communicationskills
  • Excellent organization& strong written and verbal communicationskills
  • Excellent computer skills demonstrating proficiencyin MS Office; Word, Excel, PowerPoint and CMMS program
  • Willingness to learnand use CMMS system for work order tracking, time management software for manpower hour tracking, Clmethodology, and tools suchas one OPL's SOP's and 5S methods
  • Advance computer sills withMS suite, AB suite, and networking capabilities
  • Ability to inspect equipment, recognize potentialproblems and independentlytake appropriate preventive action to prevent component failures or equipment downtime.
  • Must be able to work in an environment withmoderate to high noise volume.
  • Must be willing to work flexible shift, daylight and off-shifts as well as weekends and holidays.
  • Able work in a team env Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • The positionwillbe directly support for preventive actions and the related documentation of a 24/7 Plant operation.
  • Work Schedule: Tuesday- Saturday ORSunday-Thursday OR Monday- Friday

$76,900-$90,200 USD
