Job Description Responsibilities
• Assembles mechanical equipment and components using hand and power tools, in accordance with blueprint layout plans.
• Assembles, installs, aligns, dismantles, and moves stationary industrial machinery and automated production line equipment according to blueprint layout plans.
• Reads and interprets blueprints, structural diagrams, and mechanical/electrical schematics to determine work procedures and isolate machine irregularities.
• Performs the physical installation, relocation, and precision alignment of automated production lines and CNC machinery according to blueprint layout plans.
• Inspects and examines automated production machinery to detect and investigate mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, vacuum, and pneumatic irregularities and malfunctions.
• Uses PLC systems, HMI screens, and automation control panels to trace input/output signals and isolate mechanical, hydraulic, or pneumatic faults from electrical failures.
• Repairs mechanical and electromechanical faults, replacing and aligning machine control devices and components to restore correct timing and sequencing.
• Performs preventive and predictive maintenance on a daily and weekly schedule, including cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting machinery to minimize downtime.
• Operates machine tools such as lathes and grinders to fabricate small repair parts and custom tools required during machine overhauls and setup.
