DescriptionThe RoleThe Maintenance Manager leads the reliability and upkeep of the manufacturing, refrigeration, and facility equipment that powers our food-production operation, and oversees, leads, and develops our team of Manufacturing and HVAC Technicians. The manager drives preventative-maintenance (PM) completion and reduces equipment breakdowns across our commercial kitchen, bakery, and R&D production lines, owns all regulatory upkeep and scheduled maintenance to keep us compliant, and assists in overseeing third-party vendor contracts.
What You'll Do- Assigning tasks to technicians, following up on completions, and coaching and developing the team.
- Maintain, update, and drive on-time completion of preventative maintenance (PM) schedules for industrial kitchen equipment, refrigeration, and HVAC system.
- Monitor equipment reliability and reduce unplanned breakdowns and repeat failures on critical assets.
- Work with other departments to plan maintenance projects.
- Budgeting of maintenance spent on parts, labor, and services.
- Labor scheduling and planning.
- Working with external contractors.
- Performing root cause analysis.
What You'll BringHands-on experience maintaining food-manufacturing and facility equipment, including:
• Refrigeration and cold-chain systems (condensing units, blast chillers, ice machines, walk-in packages)
General Facility Maintenance:
• High Pressure Steam Boilers
• HVAC (rooftop units, makeup air units, heat pumps, VRF, exhaust fans)
• Air compressor systems.
Proven, expert-level experience maintaining commercial and industrial kitchen equipment, including but not limited to:
• Commercial ovens (combi, rack, and deck)
• Steam kettles and braising pans
• Fryers and rotisseries
• Deli slicers and band saws
• Meat grinders and mixers
• Commercial dishwashers
Other Requirements- Bachelor's in engineering, or relevant experience and education
- Proficient in outlook, excel, Building Management Systems, and ServiceDesk.
- Refrigeration License (preferred not needed)
- High Pressure Boiler License (preferred not needed)
- Holder of Certificate of fitness S95 S12 S13 G92 F60 G60 F01 Q99 B27 (preferred)
- Professionalism when dealing with technicians, vendors, and employees.
- Demonstrate ownership, biased for action and leadership skills.

Salary$100,000 - $120,000
