Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical/electrical engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum five years of leadership experience in manufacturing, engineering, maintenance, or reliability.
• At least two years leading a maintenance department.
• Experience managing and coaching teams for at least two years.
• Proven track record in maintaining safe work practices and familiarity with lockout/tagout procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead and promote a safety-first culture in the maintenance department.
• Implement LEAN manufacturing methods for continuous improvement.
• Drive programs to enhance asset reliability in line with operational objectives.
• Contribute to the development and alignment of annual action plans and budgeting processes.
• Prepare and execute comprehensive plans for maintenance and equipment shutdowns.
• Achieve return on investment targets for maintenance projects.
• Support the professional growth and development of maintenance team members.
• Ensure compliance with best practices in maintenance processes and Cascades business standards.
• Establish and monitor maintenance KPIs to drive quality improvements.
