The hourly rate for this position is $40.00 per hour.

What you'll do:

Responsible for coordinating and executing the maintenance of all building, grounds and equipment at the site to support operations. Schedule using QAD all reactive and preventative maintenance activities at the site. Review work of maintenance staff to ensure work is appropriately carried out. Drive the Eaton safety culture within the maintenance department.

In this function you will:
• Manage the CNC equipment preventive maintenance program, including scheduling, tracking, coordination of repairs, vendor support, and ensuring equipment reliability and uptime.
• Manage the Pressure Test equipment preventive maintenance program, including preventive maintenance scheduling, calibration coordination, compliance documentation, and equipment performance monitoring.
• Lead the maintenance, repair, and reliability of facility systems and production support equipment, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, air compressors, and other site infrastructure.
• Develop, manage, and continuously improve preventive maintenance programs using QAD, ensuring timely completion of work orders, equipment uptime, calibration requirements, and regulatory compliance.
• Manage preventive maintenance contracts, service providers, and contractors, including scheduling, performance monitoring, scope development, and obtaining quotations for maintenance and capital projects
• Serve as the primary site contact for facility-related emergencies, security systems, fire protection systems, utility interruptions, and after-hours building support.
• Conduct and oversee facility inspections, including safety, environmental, hazardous waste, utility, and equipment inspections, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Manage hazardous waste handling activities, including drum movement, accumulation area inspections, labeling, emergency response, and coordination with Hazardous Waste Managers.
• Lead site compliance programs and continuous improvement initiatives, including Energy Control (LOTO), Contractor Safety, Waste Management, Fall Protection, and MESH requirements.
• Coordinate and support capital expenditure (CapEx) projects, facility upgrades, and infrastructure improvements from planning through implementation.
• Manage maintenance department budget and monthly expense reports for all site wide projects.
• Lead weekly Tier 2 meetings, drive corrective actions, and ensure timely resolution of safety observations and facility-related issues.
• Promote a safe work environment through proper equipment use, employee engagement, preventive maintenance practices, and continuous improvement activities
• Perform other duties as assigned in support of facility, maintenance, and operational objectives.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in the troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of CNC equipment, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical maintenance and repair.
• This position requires access to export-controlled information. To conform to U.S. Government export regulations applicable to that information, applicant must be a U.S. person, defined as a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (green card holder), (iii) refugee under 8 U.S.C. 1157, or (iv) asylee under 8 U.S.C. 1158.
• Must reside within a 50 mile radius of Jackson, MS to be considered. Active Duty military are exempt from the geographical requirement

Preferred:
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a foreman / lead in maintenance preferred.
• Experience with the engineering of power distribution systems from 600V on down, motor control, VFD's, lighting, grounding, and lightning protection.
• Experience in performing power system analysis, short circuit and load flow studies. Familiarity with process control systems, and emergency power systems is a plus.
• Working knowledge of 480-volt,3 phase motor control electrical systems.
• Knowledge of municipal electrical code applicable to installation, maintenance, and repair work.
• Experience working with machine shop equipment including CNC machines.
• Trade or technical school certificate or equivalent preferred.

Position Criteria:
• Working knowledge of QAD software.
• Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read and understand hydraulic and electrical schematics.
• Electrical construction and maintenance practices.
• Knowledge of procedures for installing all sizes of electrical conduit, cables, wires, switches, automatic stating equipment, and pole line construction, etc. Standard practices, materials, and tools of the electrical trade.
• Knowledge of municipal electrical code applicable to installation, maintenance, and repair work.
• Experience working with machine shop equipment including CNC machines.
• Must adhere to and support Eaton's Environmental, Health and Safety policies.
• Must be able to work under minimum supervision and be self-motivated.
• Candidate will not disrupt other employees during normal working hours.
• Hands-on experience with repair and maintenance of production machinery.
• Must be able to PM's and shutdowns on machinery.
• Must be willing to work outdoors in both hot and cold weather.
• Be able to verify efficiency of abilities as well as industry, type and model of equipment knowledge.
• Understanding of applicable OSHA regulations.
• Ability to read and write English proficiently.
