Position Summary

As a Maintenance Electrician, you'll be responsible for the maintenance of all electrical equipment in the factory. You'll follow plant sanitation practices and procedures while staying informed of new technology and equipment as it pertains to plant operations. Troubleshoot and repair equipment as you always work in a safe manner to enhance machine reliability and process improvements across the facility. Make an impact on our processes as you deliver vital predictive and preventative maintenance work to our machinery.

  • Properly use maintenance equipment including hand tools, lifts, threaders, benders, drills and welding equipment.
  • Install, troubleshoot, and maintain switch gears, control wiring and components, overcurrent and overload protection for plant motors including three phase systems.
  • Design, program and troubleshoot plant PLCs, VFDs, input/output devices and associated equipment.
  • Read, update, and create electrical prints and documentation.
  • Properly install conduit, raceways, fittings, etc.
  • Use test equipment such as multimeters, megohmmeters, and process simulators.
  • Troubleshoot and repair both mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • All other duties as assigned.


Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 2+ years' industrial electronics or electrical related experience required OR 2 Year Technical Degree / Apprenticeship required.


Other
  • Must be open to all schedules including nights and 12-hour shifts with a continuous schedule.


The approximate hourly pay for this position is $40.87 an hour for Maintenance C rate. The pay progression plan follows: Maintenance B $44.10, Maintenance A $46.23. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location
