Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in maintenance or facilities management, preferably in assisted living or healthcare settings.
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective rapport with residents and staff.
• Understanding of confidentiality protocols pertaining to resident information.
• Familiarity with relevant local, state, and federal regulations governing assisted living facilities.
• Basic financial management skills, including budget oversight and cost control.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.
• Must comply with health clearance, including a TB screening.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and repair tasks within the assisted living community, optimizing cost-effectiveness.
• Manage and mentor the maintenance and housekeeping teams to uphold community standards.
• Lead training and development initiatives for assigned staff.
• Implement and manage the community's Injury and Illness Prevention Program.
• Coordinate and maintain compliance with the Hazcom Program.
• Conduct regular safety audits and emergency drills to assure community safety.
