Position Summary

Jet Aviation is seeking an experienced Maintenance Coordinator to oversee the maintenance and airworthiness of multiple business aircraft accounts. This is a highly visible role for an aviation professional who combines strong technical knowledge with exceptional organization, communication, and customer focus.

You will coordinate maintenance remotely rather than perform hands-on aircraft work. Managing approximately three to five assigned accounts, you will oversee inspections, repairs, records, vendors, budgets, invoices, maintenance tracking, and aircraft availability. You will serve as the central connection between clients, pilots, maintenance providers, vendors, and Jet Aviation teams.

The role is fast-paced and requires someone who can manage competing priorities, anticipate upcoming needs, remain calm under pressure, and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. If you are a proactive planner who takes ownership and enjoys solving complex aviation challenges, this opportunity offers meaningful responsibility and visibility.

This role is an office-based position, on a hybrid schedule, working from any of Jet Aviation's US based locations (listed below). The posted salary ranges will default to that of your regional location and will not include any premiums. The baseline range for this exempt position will be as follows: $160,000 - $190,000 plus a performance-based bonus up to 10% of annual salary.

Candidates will be prioritized by their proximity to these Jet Aviation hub locations. Please list the location that interests you, in your application:
  • West Palm Beach, FL
  • Opa Locka, FL (Miami)
  • Teterboro, NJ
  • Bedford, MA
  • Chicago, IL
  • St. Luis, MO
  • Milwaukee, WI
  • Scottsdale, AZ
  • Burbank, CA
  • Bozeman, MT

Your Profile

You bring:
  • An Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic (A&P) certificate.
  • At least five years of aviation maintenance experience, with 8 being preferred, preferably including three years in corporate aviation.
  • Knowledge and previous use of applicable FAA regulations, industry standards, OSHA, and IS-BAO requirements.
  • Experience with maintenance planning, inspections, repairs, modifications, aircraft records, and maintenance tracking.
  • Strong customer service, written and verbal communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • A valid driver's license and the ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

The successful candidate is highly organized, adaptable, self-directed, and comfortable managing several priorities at once. You know how to create practical systems that keep tasks, deadlines, records, and communications under control. You can discuss technical issues confidently with pilots and maintenance providers while also delivering a polished, professional experience to clients.

Inspection Authorization, business aviation training, project management experience, and familiarity with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat, and computerized maintenance tracking systems are preferred.

Your Role

  • Manage maintenance activities for assigned aircraft in accordance with company procedures, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Plan scheduled and unscheduled maintenance while minimizing disruption to client flight schedules.
  • Review airworthiness directives, service bulletins, maintenance records, and inspection requirements.
  • Coordinate inspections, repairs, modifications, parts, vendors, quotes, and maintenance packages.
  • Troubleshoot discrepancies and support complex technical and operational challenges.
  • Maintain accurate aircraft logbooks, permanent records, and computerized maintenance tracking systems.
  • Prepare and monitor maintenance budgets; review, code, and reconcile invoices.
  • Keep clients, pilots, Flight Control, and maintenance leadership informed of aircraft status.
  • Support aircraft during normal and after-hours maintenance requirements.
  • Represent Jet Aviation with professionalism and demonstrate our values of Trust, Honesty, Alignment, and Transparency.
