About the Role:

As a Maintenance Control Supervisor, you oversee the Maintenance Control team to maximize safe, compliant aircraft availability by training, supporting, and facilitating cross-departmental coordination within the Mission Operations Control Center. You ensure necessary aircraft maintenance is executed seamlessly through effective coordination of people, parts, processes, and costs. You also serve as the primary point of contact for leadership during your assigned shift.

A Day in the Life:

Your day will be leadership-driven and operationally focused, ensuring seamless coordination of maintenance activities and strong team performance. Typical responsibilities include:

  • AOG Logistics Coordination: Initiate and manage logistics for AOG maintenance support, including travel, manpower, tooling, and accommodations to ensure rapid and effective response.


  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead and represent Maintenance Operations Control in cross-departmental meetings and conference calls, driving alignment and operational clarity.


  • Team Development: Mentor junior team members and promote a culture rooted in safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.


  • Flight Coordination: Oversee and coordinate ferry flights and non-revenue maintenance check flights in accordance with company policies and procedures.


  • Systems Oversight: Monitor Aircraft Out of Service applications and interfacing systems to ensure timely and accurate updates from Maintenance Controllers and maintenance bases.


  • Performance Management: Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to Maintenance Control Technicians to support growth and accountability.

Required Experience:

  • High school diploma/GED


  • 5-7 Years of line maintenance/technical operations experience with a Part 121 or 135 operator


  • Previous experience as a maintenance lead or supervisor


Preferred Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience/training


  • 7-10 Years of line maintenance/technical operations experience with a Part 121 or 135 operator


  • Previous maintenance control experience


  • Working knowledge of the Embraer 135/145 aircraft


  • Working knowledge of the ATR 42 aircraft


  • Valid Passport


Skill, Licenses, & Certifications:

  • A current and valid Driver's license is required with Real ID


  • Current and valid Airframe and Powerplant Certificate


  • Ability to work 10 or 12 hour shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays


  • Ability to travel on occasion when requested


  • Intermittent physical activity, including bending, reaching, and prolonged periods of sitting


  • Ability to occasionally lift 5-20 pounds


  • Ability to work within a team-oriented, high-paced work environment


  • Must be detail-oriented, with excellent organizational and task management skills


  • Proven leadership, motivational, and organizational skills


  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills within a cross-functional team environment


  • Moderate proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.

Compensation Range:
$90,000.0 - $110,200.0
