Qualifications

• High School diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred in manufacturing or engineering.
• Minimum of five years of maintenance experience, with at least three years in supervisory roles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; Intermediate level in maintenance management systems (AX System preferred).
• Strong problem-solving skills related to personnel, processes and equipment.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
• Proven ability in training and evaluating staff.
• Experience leading in a unionized environment (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct maintenance functions to ensure effective operations.
• Assign tasks and monitor work orders to meet deadlines efficiently.
• Identify troubleshooting opportunities and act to prevent equipment failures.
• Plan resource use and support process improvements for efficiency.
• Coordinate external contractors and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Lead crew safety meetings and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
• Foster a continuous improvement culture in safety, quality and productivity.
