We are currently seeking a Mainframe Systems Programmer to join our team in Buffalo, New York (US-NY), United States (US).
- The role involves upgrading and supporting the z/OS operating system and ISV products, mainly from IBM and Computer Associates (CA)
- The successful candidate will ideally have more than ten years of z/OS systems programming experience
- Should have very strong Parallel Sysplex skills
- Extensive experience of installing many (not just a few) IBM and CA products
- Should have ideally worked in a Bank or organizations with large installations
- Should be confident, able to work independently and start contributing from day one
- Must have excellent problem-solving skills and be a true team player
- Will need provide off hours support for the implementation of software changes, when required
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills; an ability to communicate with impact, ensuring complex information is articulated in a meaningful way to wide and varied audiences.
Required Skills:
- 8+ years of experience in z/OS, SMP/E, TSO/ISPF, USS, SDSF, JCL, RACF
- Parallel Sysplex
- Installation of several different IBM and CA products

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay for this remote role is $80/hour. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
