About the RoleWe are seeking a Mainframe Solution Architect to lead architecture, modernization, and transformation initiatives across enterprise Public Sector environments.
The successful candidate will define future-state architecture, modernization strategies, and cloud migration roadmaps for mission-critical systems.
IMPORTANT NOTE - PUBLIC SECTOR EXPERIENCE REQUIREDCandidates must have architecture experience supporting Government, Crown Corporations, Healthcare, Defense, Education, Utilities, Transportation, or other Public Sector organizations.Candidates without Public Sector experience will not be considered.Responsibilities- Define enterprise modernization roadmaps.
- Design target-state architecture solutions.
- Evaluate modernization and migration approaches.
- Lead architecture reviews and technical assessments.
- Support cloud transformation initiatives.
- Collaborate with executive stakeholders and delivery teams.
Required Qualifications- 10+ years of Mainframe and Enterprise Architecture experience.
- Expertise in z/OS, COBOL, PL/I, DB2, CICS, and JCL.
- Experience with cloud migration and modernization strategies.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications- TOGAF Certification.
- Cloud Architecture Certifications.
- Government Security Clearance.
