Mainframe Infra Engineer
Location: Columbus , OH ( 3 days onsite 2 days remote)

Proficient knowledge and understanding in the following key areas:
Hardware Architecture (performance testing, monitoring, operations)
Hardware Benchmarking (Agile, program managements, network management)
Design (compliance, security) Network Engineering (planning, provision)
Proficient in more than one specific infrastructure technology.
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
• Software development experience in one or more general purpose programming languages: Python, Java, C, C++, Go, JCL, REXX, PERL, PHP, JYTHON, zOSMF Workflows, J2EE, MVC, JDBC, Servlets, JSP, HTML, JQuery, AngularJS, JSON and XML
• Advanced experience working with two or more from the following: web application development, database, unix/linux environments, distributed and parallel systems, information retrieval, networking, large scale software development, security software development
• Understanding or have experience with agile and lean philosophies
• Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills with clear communication
• Ability to collaborate with different roles to achieve common goals
• Strong knowledge of zOSConnect (aka zOSC or zCEE) on the mainframe. Build, configure and trouble shoot issues.
• Proficient across WebSphere (WAS) Architecture (performance testing, monitoring, operations), Design (compliance, security) and Connectivity (planning, securing)
• Strong knowledge of server side design patterns and continuous delivery principles
• Ability to articulate and share clear, concise complex technical findings to management in understandable terms
• Intermediate/Strong proficiency in these key areas:
• WebSphere Application Server (WAS) and zOSConnect/zCEE
• JAVA
• TCP/IP, Certificates, AT-TLS, Keyring, Keystore
• Experience with USS
