As a Senior Sales Manager, you will focus strictly on leading, driving, and scaling a high-performing team of sales professionals. You will serve as a key strategist, supervisor, and mentor, leveraging your deep expertise in our product portfolio and the competitive landscape to guide your team to success. Your leadership will be instrumental in establishing sales plans, managing budgets, and developing policies that shape our success across the region.

What you'll do
  • Lead & Coach: Manage, mentor, and develop a team of sales professionals, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous success.
  • Strategic Planning: Establish operational sales objectives, design regional sales plans, and delegate assignments to subordinates to ensure territory goals are met.
  • Operational & Financial Oversight: Direct and manage team budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements, exercising full supervision over costs, staffing, and methods.
  • Portfolio Expertise: Maintain deep knowledge of the machine vision product portfolio, ensuring the team is strategically positioned to win against the competition.
  • Policy Development: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute policies that optimize immediate operations and drive region-wide or company-wide success.
  • One Zebra Culture: Champion a collaborative, "One Zebra" team-first environment, prioritizing collective organizational achievements.


What we're looking for:
  • Proven Leadership: Extensive experience managing, supervising, and developing a successful technology sales team, including direct management of other sales leaders.
  • Strategic Management: Strong business acumen with demonstrated experience in budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and strategic organizational alignment.
  • Industry Expertise: Strong understanding of machine vision, enterprise hardware, industrial automation, or closely related high-tech sectors.
  • Exceptional Mentorship: A dedicated leader passionate about coaching others, removing barriers, and enabling individual sales representatives to reach their potential.
  • Quota Management: A track record of successfully guiding teams to deliver on significant regional or territory sales targets (e.g., $25 million+).


Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelors or equivalent experience
  • 12 + years of applicable partner (i.e. channel, distributor, system integrator, etc) management sales experience required
  • 5 + years of machine vision experience required
  • 4 + years of direct people management experience
  • Must reside in the US, in the Midwest region, with the ability to travel ~ 50% or as business dictates.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Technical degree highly preferred
  • Fixed industrial scanning in one or more of the following vertical markets (Automotive, Logistics & Distribution, Pharma & Medical, Food & Beverage, Manufacturing, Electronics & Semiconductor) desired
  • Must be comfortable selling in a highly technical environment and possess sophisticated technical comprehension
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and manage a team of sales professionals
  • The ability to plan and implement a strategic sales plan to expand Zebra's customer base/channel partner relationships
  • Excellent time management, communication, decision-making, presentation, and organizational skills


Pay Range:
$114,080.00 - $171,120.00 Annual

Incentive Compensation:
In addition to base pay, Zebra offers this role an opportunity to earn variable compensation in the form of commission for achieving quota, at 67% , in accordance with the terms of the applicable sales incentive plan.

Salary offered will vary depending on your location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience.

In most other roles, the Zebra annual cash incentive program links Company and individual performance together. Some roles may also be eligible for long-term incentive equity awards.
