Full Job Description
Provide Level 3 Engineering level troubleshooting of Mac Desktop issues
  • Be a Sr. level Mac Engineer and drive Mac Engineering projects to completion in a Team Lead capability.
  • Constant refinement of our JSS Casper Suite in providing Mac imaging, user data backup / restore, software deployments, and support using this infrastructure
  • Provide MS Office level 3 Engineering support for Mac versions 2011 & 2016 O365 including Outlook
  • Provide level 3 support and engineering for browsers including Mac Safari, Chrome, and Firefox
  • Assist with packaging Mac installs including any required scripting as needed
  • Communicate effectively; dissect situations and present optimal solutions for complex issues
  • Expedite sensitive operational issues and make the appropriate decision to inform a supervisor or take independent action if necessary
  • Project a positive, professional image and foster a respectful team environment
  • Actively participate in key departmental and divisional initiatives when called upon
  • Assist Level 3 Windows Engineering as needed (as they assist Mac Engineering)

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years experience
  • Superior product and industry knowledge for Mac & Windows mixed environments
  • Outstanding client service, communication and problem resolution skills
  • Experience with JAMF Casper Suite is a must
  • Experience with Centrify & MS SCCM is desirable
  • Mac OS X bash and applescript experience is required
  • Strong self-management skills in order to drive projects to completion
