Full Job Description
is seeking a SharePoint Online Administrator for a on-site opportunity for candidates in Blythewood, SC. Candidate will support a 12-month initiative focused on designing, administering, modernizing, and optimizing a large-scale SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 environment. The role will combine platform administration, development, governance, automation, security, and user experience to deliver scalable solutions aligned with business needs.

Required Qualifications of the SharePoint Online Administrator:
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to provide sponsorship or work with Third-Party agencies.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting and administering SharePoint Online within Microsoft 365/Office 365 environments.
  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft 365 hybrid infrastructure, Microsoft Windows, advanced SharePoint permissions, and Microsoft Entra ID.
  • 5+ years of experience using SharePoint Framework (SPFx) to customize and integrate Microsoft 365 applications.
  • 5+ years of experience with front-end development, user interface design, and user experience design.
  • 5+ years of experience implementing SharePoint enhancements, platform changes, and technical runbooks.
  • 5+ years of experience creating and maintaining workflows and Power Automate solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of SharePoint Online architecture, administration best practices, configuration, and technical documentation.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or business-related field; equivalent professional experience may substitute for formal education.
  • Must currently reside in South Carolina, North Carolina, or Georgia and be willing to relocate to South Carolina at their own expense if necessary.

Preferred Skills/Experience of the SharePoint Online Administrator:
  • Experience with data governance frameworks, policies, standards, and related documentation.
  • Advanced knowledge of business processes and process improvement.
  • Strong PowerShell skills.
  • Experience creating architecture diagrams, technical navigation maps, and operational documentation.

Responsibilities of the SharePoint Online Administrator:

Design, configure, administer, and maintain SharePoint Online sites, subsites, hubs, libraries, lists, navigation, permissions, and related components.
  • Manage security groups, access controls, and advanced permissions using Microsoft Entra ID and SharePoint Online best practices.
  • Develop and maintain modern intranet solutions, custom layouts, workflows, Power Automate automation, and SPFx-based enhancements.
  • Partner with business teams and site owners to improve functionality, governance, usability, accessibility, and adoption of SharePoint Online.
  • Maintain platform documentation, architecture diagrams, technical runbooks, governance standards, taxonomy, metadata, and content management practices.
  • Support the SharePoint environment lifecycle, including provisioning, usage monitoring, site cleanup, archival, decommissioning, and adoption of relevant Microsoft 365 roadmap enhancements.

Work Location: Blythewood, SC - Fully onsite. No remote or hybrid flexibility.
