Full Job Description
Job Summary:

Repsol Renewables North America is seeking an M&A Manager based in Houston to support the execution and leadership of renewable energy investment and divestment activities. This role is responsible for managing transactions end-to-end, leading complex financial analysis, coordinating internal and external stakeholders, and contributing to strategic decision-making across the renewable's portfolio.

The M&A Manager will operate with a high degree of autonomy, provide guidance to junior team members, and partner closely with senior leadership to evaluate growth opportunities, manage risk, and deliver value through disciplined capital deployment.

The position is based in Downtown Houston with a hybrid work model of 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.

Key Stakeholders:
• Senior Leadership Team, Repsol Renewables North America
• CEO, North America Renewables
• Corporate and Functional Teams including Legal, Tax, Finance, and Technical
• External advisors including banks, investment funds, consultants, and legal counsel

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the evaluation, execution, and negotiation of renewable energy acquisitions, divestments, and strategic partnerships
• Oversee advanced financial modeling, valuation, and scenario analysis to support investment decisions
• Manage end-to-end transaction processes, including due diligence coordination, data room oversight, and closing activities
• Prepare and present investment materials and recommendations to senior management and investment committees
• Provide strategic insights through portfolio valuation, market analysis, and competitive benchmarking
• Collaborate with Legal, Tax, Finance, and technical teams to structure transactions and manage risk
• Serve as the primary point of contact for external advisors and counterparties
• Mentor and review work produced by Analysts and Associates, ensuring analytical rigor and development
• Support long-term growth strategy through market research and identification of new investment opportunities.

Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred
• 6-10 years of relevant M&A, corporate finance, or investment experience, preferably within renewable energy, infrastructure, or power markets
• Demonstrated experience leading transactions and managing cross-functional teams
• Advanced financial modeling and valuation expertise
• Strong understanding of U.S. renewable energy markets and project finance structures
