Job Responsibilities- Provide technical expertise and support to customer engineering teams.
- Design and model customer and proprietary products using CAD tools.
- Develop and maintain detailed assembly drawings and technical documentation.
- Create and manage bills of materials, labor estimates, and product cost analyses.
- Plan and conduct product qualification testing, including test plans, schedules, and reports.
- Investigate and resolve complex manufacturing and quality issues.
- Collaborate with suppliers to enhance product performance and reduce costs.
- Coordinate prototyping and pre-production activities with internal teams and suppliers.
- Support product development initiatives and manufacturing processes.
- Manage project execution to ensure efficient and timely delivery of results
Required Skills- Manufacturing Engineering Knowledge: Experience with manufacturing processes, product development, and production support.
- CAD/PLM Proficiency: Skilled in Creo, Windchill, or similar CAD/PLM systems.
- Project Management: Ability to plan, execute, and manage multiple projects and deliverables.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
- Product Testing & Validation: Experience developing test protocols and analyzing results.
- Supplier Collaboration: Ability to work with suppliers to improve performance and reduce costs.
- Technical Documentation: Skilled in creating drawings, BOMs, and technical reports.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication across cross-functional teams.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent planning, tracking, and prioritization abilities.
- Continuous Improvement Mindset: Commitment to learning and applying new tools and processes.
Required Education- Associate's Degree in Engineering or a related field (required).
- Six Sigma training (preferred).
- Project Management training or certification (preferred).
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.
- Applicable job experience is a plus
