Our Military Aircraft Group is seeking a Loop Leader to support Aircraft Production programs within the Linear Hydraulic Actuator (LHA1) value stream, which includes the V-22 program, Fit & Null and Paint Shop. In this role, you'll be a key operational leader, helping ensure reliable execution, continuous improvement, and value delivery to our customers.
You will report to the Process Manager and work onsite in East Aurora, NY.
As a Loop Leader, you will:- Sustain and support daily manufacturing operations
- Monitor and analyze daily production data (e.g., indented/waterfall parts outlook, line of balance, RUR status)
- Review A&T capacity, past-due items, and expediting needs
- Manage critical parts and support production issues related to tooling, work orders, and job prioritization
- Participate in Tiered Management and conduct daily Gemba walks
- Facilitate cross-functional teams to resolve issues and remove roadblocks
- Lead root cause analyses and implement effective countermeasures
- Communicate clearly and influence across functions to drive alignment and results
- Develop, implement, and sustain Standard Work practices and instructions
- Drive Lean Daily Management focusing on Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost
- Identify, reduce, and eliminate waste across operations
- Improve production procedures to increase efficiency and consistency
- Build and apply metrics to guide decision-making and performance improvement
- Foster a strong continuous improvement and Lean mindset
- Maintain a clear focus on delivering value to the customer through reliable execution and ongoing improvement
To be considered for this role, here's what you typically need to bring with you:- 10+ years of experience working in or supporting Manufacturing Operations or Process Development/Improvement
OR- 2-year accredited technical degree plus 5 years of relevant manufacturing or process improvement experience
OR- 4-year Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of relevant manufacturing or process improvement experience
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams
- Demonstrated lean problem-solving experience using tools such as 5-Why, Fishbone, and similar methods
- Experience developing and implementing Standard Work Instructions (SWIs)
- Willingness to periodically work additional hours to support program goals and production demand

Salary Range Transparency:Buffalo, NY $80,000.00-$110,000.00 Annually
