Full Job Description
Nightwing is seeking a Logistics/Property Specialist to perform a wide variety of tasks related to incoming and outgoing Nightwing and Government material/equipment.

The Logistics/Property Specialist will interact with customer and company property/logistics representatives as well as freight carriers and Government personnel.

Primary duties include receiving, shipping, and maintaining inventory records for Nightwing and Government assets.
  • Receive, verify/inspect, record creation, and storage of incoming material/equipment.
  • Packaging and shipping services of material/equipment to include tracking of shipments.
  • Conduct annual physical inventory activities by assisting in resolving discrepancies and reporting metrics.
  • Participate in internal and external audits and assist in the resolution of nonconformance to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Assist with project/program closeout to include final disposition of property.

Required Skills:
  • Basic knowledge of Inventory Management/Warehouse Management system transactions.
  • Strong self-starter with ability to work independently on multiple assignments.
  • Ability to be flexible with shifting priorities and display effective time management skills.
  • Must be detail oriented to record and maintain inventory asset transactions accurately with high quality and rapid execution.
  • Must be a team player who is comfortable operating in a high energy and often deadline driven environment who is results focused, ensuring critical due dates and milestones are met.
  • Must have the ability to effectively listen to and communicate with customers and teammates.
  • Must have effective computer skills - to include Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Able and willing to operate powered equipment to transport material/equipment; forklift certification.
  • Able and willing to obtain certification in DOT Hazmat / IATA Dangerous Goods Training
  • Able and willing to comply with Nightwing Non-Commercial & DOT Driving Programs
  • Able and willing to lift up to 94 lbs.
  • Able and willing to do minimal travel as needed.
  • Must be US Citizen with ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.

Desired Skills:
  • Practical understanding of Government/Customer Property Management as defined in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
  • Certified through the National Property Management Association (NPMA) or equivalent.
  • 4 years of related experience


Required Education:
  • Bachelor's degree. Additional work experience may be considered in lieu of degree


Salary & Benefits
The salary associated with this position ($64,000-$128,000) is commensurate with the selected candidate's qualifications, years of relevant experience, and demonstrated level of expertise. Compensation will be determined based on these factors to ensure alignment with skills, responsibilities, and market standards.
