The Logistics Operations Manager is responsible for leading all logistics operations across the Bethlehem, PA campus, including receiving, warehousing, material movement, shipping, and transportation. This position leads a team of 35+ employees across multiple buildings and two shifts, ensuring the safe, efficient, and cost-effective flow of materials. The Logistics Operations Manager drives operational excellence by fostering a lean culture, establishing standardized processes, and improving logistics operational quality through continuous improvement. Success in this role is measured by achieving outstanding performance in the department's key metrics: Zero Safety Incidents, On-Time Delivery, and Logistics PPM.
You will make an impact in this role by:
- Lead all receiving, warehouse, material handling, shipping, and transportation operations across the Bethlehem campus.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of 35+ employees across multiple buildings and two shifts while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Promote a lean culture by driving continuous improvement initiatives that enhance productivity, material flow, and operational efficiency.
- Develop, implement, and maintain standardized logistics processes, work instructions, and operating procedures.
- Identify process improvement opportunities using data analysis, root cause analysis, and structured problem-solving methodologies.
- Own logistics operational quality by reducing shipping, receiving, picking, packing, labeling, and other logistics-related errors while improving Logistics PPM.
- Improve inventory accuracy through stable processes, disciplined inventory control practices, timely transaction processing, and effective corrective actions.
- Support cycle counting, inventory reconciliation, and process compliance to identify and eliminate the root causes of inventory discrepancies.
- Optimize warehouse layout, material flow, storage utilization, transportation methods, and labor efficiency to maximize operational performance.
- Drive performance through clearly defined key performance indicators, with primary focus on Zero Safety Incidents, On-Time Delivery, and Logistics PPM, while also improving shipping accuracy, warehouse productivity, inventory accuracy, and freight performance.
- Lead root cause investigations and implement sustainable corrective and preventive actions to eliminate recurring operational issues.
- Manage carrier relationships and transportation performance while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Planning, Purchasing, Customer Service, Engineering, and Quality to improve operational performance and customer satisfaction.
- Evaluate and implement new technologies, automation, and digital tools that improve logistics performance.
- Manage departmental budgets, staffing, and resource planning.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA requirements, and all applicable transportation regulations.

To be considered for the Logistics Operations Manager role, you must have the following minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field required.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive logistics leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience leading warehouse, shipping, receiving, inventory control, and transportation operations.
- Demonstrated success driving continuous improvement and developing a lean culture.
- Experience with SAP or a comparable ERP system required.
- Project management experience preferred.
