Job Title Logistics Material Specialist Sr Location CA San Diego NIWC Pacific - San Diego, CA 92106 US (Primary) Category Administrative Support Job Type Full-time Typical Pay/Range $90,000 to $105,000 Annually Education High School Diploma or GED Travel None Security Clearance Required Secret POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS): Alutiiq Information Management, LLC a subsidiary of Alutiiq, LLC is seeking a Sr. Logistics Materials Specialist to join our team supporting the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) in San Diego, CA. The Senior Logistics Material Specialist is responsible for procurement of material, training, equipment positioning, and all related logistics functions for the Reverse Engineering, Science and Technology for Obsolescence, Repair and Evaluation (RESTORE) Laboratory. This effort is for the sustainment of DOD Airspace and C4I systems with an emphasis on new technologies and capabilities within a Department of War (DoW) Joint environment, led by Naval Information Warfare Command (NIWC) Pacific. 37Experience with commercial market acquisition techniques, include military electronic materials acquisition, adhering to federal guidelines for free and open competition for those acquisitions available on commercial market and compatible with military operation systems. 37Ensuring on-time delivery of support materials (e.g., property, supplies, and equipment). 37Preparing and maintaining property, maintenance, and operational records. 37Managing, oversight, and implementation of all supply, receiving, marking, and warehousing and storage efforts as defined in the prime contract. 37Ensure that all shipments and receipt of equipment and materials for the TO are properly documented, and follow proper customs procedures. 37Maintain strict accountability of equipment, supplies, spare parts, etc. through a computerized file and accounting system. 37Ensure that all goods and services procured in support of Task Orders/Technical Direction Letters are purchased and paid for in accordance with applicable DoD and company regulations. 37Required to manage personnel in all aspects of material support; excellent communications skills requisite as facility processes and procedures mature. Payrate: $90,000 to $105,000 Annually REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: 37Must be a U.S. citizen. 37H.S. Diploma or GED. 37Possess a SECRET Security Clearance or have ability to gain clearance. 37Must demonstrate Level 3 English language proficiency. 37TEN (10) years' experience in a logistic support position equivalency. 37Must be extremely proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and the ability manage electronic files and an electronic record-keeping system. 37Understand the premises of ISO 9001 and have the ability to create/support supply management procedures to provide for increasing requirements in a robust project environment. The pay range information provided is a general guideline. The pay rate offered will be determined based on the candidate's experience and qualifications, as well as geographic locations, market data, and other business considerations, as permitted by law.
