Full Job Description
We are looking for Logistics Manufacturing Engineer. This position will be based in Hingham, MA.
Position Summary

The Logistics Manufacturing Engineer (LME) is responsible for optimizing material flow, manufacturing logistics, inventory control processes, warehouse layouts, and production support activities. This position drives continuous improvement initiatives to ensure efficient movement of materials from receipt through production and shipment while supporting operational excellence goals.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design and improve material flow processes between Receiving, Stockroom, Production, and Shipping.
  • Analyze and optimize warehouse and production layouts to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Support Kanban, VMI, kitting, and inventory management initiatives.
  • Develop standard work instructions and process documentation.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects focused on safety, quality, delivery, and cost reduction.
  • Monitor inventory accuracy and support cycle count and API activities.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for inventory discrepancies and process failures.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Supply Chain, and Quality teams.
  • Support SAP master data validation and manufacturing logistics reporting.
  • Implement Lean Manufacturing and 5S methodologies
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
  • Lean manufacturing techniques
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP system
  • Experience simulating manufacturing systems and processes
  • Proficiency in data collection and analysis
  • Understanding of Supply-Chain Management and/or Internal Logistics
  • Prior manufacturing experience
  • Experience analyzing business processes and implementing or streamlining improvements

The pay range for this position is $82K - $110K annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
