Overview

Please note that this position is contingent upon the successful award of a contract currently under bid.

Summary:

The Logistics Manager oversees all logistics operations in support of the OTC operational test, data collection, and experimentation mission. This role manages the planning, coordination, and execution of materiel handling, field support, and logistical workflows to ensure timely and efficient support for testing and acquisition programs. The Logistics Manager supervises staff, coordinates with Government and contractor personnel, and ensures compliance with DoD, Air Force, and contract requirements.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

  • Oversee logistics planning and execution for operational testing, data collection, and experimentation activities.
  • Manage receipt, storage, distribution, and accountability of materiel, test equipment, and acquisition systems.
  • Ensure logistics support aligns with operational test schedules and mission requirements.
  • Supervise logistics personnel, ensuring proper training, performance, and adherence to procedures.
  • Coordinate with Government stakeholders, contractors, and field teams to provide seamless support for test operations.
  • Develop and maintain logistics documentation, reports, and data management records.
  • Ensure proper handling and transportation of equipment, including hazardous materials and sensitive test assets.
  • Support integration of data management and operational reporting within logistics processes.
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve logistics issues or bottlenecks, implementing process improvements as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and security regulations in all logistics operations.

Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

  • Knowledgeable of and ability to work a variety of automated systems, processes and procedures and database formats to include Global Combat Support Systems - Army (GCSS-Army).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, scheduling tools, and program management software.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for reports, briefings, and stakeholder engagement.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum ten (10) years of experience in logistics operations management.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • All personnel require TOP SECRET clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Logistics, Program Management, or Business Administration.
  • Experience supporting Air Force operational test programs.
  • Familiarity with data management systems for logistics and operational testing.
