Description
We're seeking a driven and highly organized
Logistics Manager based in
Conroe, TX to support logistics operations across SPL's Environmental Laboratory network throughout our Texas region.

What You'll Do- Develop and manage routing schedules for environmental field services and sample collection activities
- Optimize transportation routes, scheduling, and logistics operations to support efficiency and turnaround objectives
- Coordinate sample transportation in compliance with chain-of-custody and sample handling requirements
- Monitor logistics operations and adjust schedules, routing priorities, and resource allocation as operational needs change
- Collaborate with laboratory and operations teams to support workflow efficiency and timely sample delivery
- Maintain routing and logistics tracking systems to support reporting and operational performance monitoring
- Analyze logistics metrics and operational data to identify trends and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Develop reports, dashboards, KPIs, and operational performance metrics
- Support quality assurance activities, audits, investigations, and corrective action initiatives as needed
- Provide operational guidance, training, and coordination support regarding logistics procedures, documentation, and compliance standards
- Assist with resolving issues related to transportation, routing, logistics coordination, and sample handling activities
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
What We're Looking For- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in logistics, dispatch, transportation coordination, or related operations roles, preferably in field services, environmental services, or laboratory environments
- Proven experience managing and optimizing transportation routes, logistics workflows, and operational scheduling across large or multi-site service areas
- Familiarity with chain-of-custody procedures and sample handling requirements preferred
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Experience with routing software, logistics management systems, dashboards, or business intelligence tools preferred
Work Schedule & Travel- Full-time, hybrid position following Monday - Friday schedule
- Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours as needed to support operational demands
- Occasional travel to various sites across Texas may be required based on business needs
