Summary

You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the Aviation Operations Division of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT.

Duties

Help

• You will serve as a Logistics Element Manager (LEM) supporting the Integrated Weapon System Team (IWST).
• You will support requirements determinations and distribution of spare parts and components, repair scheduling, and final disposition for all components.
• You will analyze supply availability, maintenance status, and other performance indicators.
• You will investigate and resolve logistics related problems.
• You will coordinate with stakeholders to expedite parts deliveries, resolve technical issues, address inventory discrepancies, and investigate configuration management problems.
• You will support the team in formulating strategies to be followed both other inventory control organizations.
• You will assist in the development and coordination of the execution of Budget Estimates and Buy Plans for commodities.
• You will prepare and deliver briefs to Flag, General Officers, and other personnel in support of senior leadership.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate managing the life cycle of logistics components, including requirements determinations, repair scheduling, budgeting, and executing support for assigned items and systems. Examples of specialized experience include: 1)Providing critical logistical recommendations to senior leadership; 2) Performing analysis to evaluate fleet readiness; 3) Investigating and resolving supply chain problems; 4) Supporting acquisition and technical data management for weapons systems.
