Job DescriptionPosition Summary:HII - Mission Technologies is looking to hire an
Logistics Management Analyst 5 to provide technical support for the US Army and the Uncrewwed Aircraft Systems Program Office - UASPO at Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, Alabama. The Army's UASPO provides its team of technicians and analysts, the opportunity to gain experience in various programs, including Research & Development, Fielding & Implementation, and Sustainment Engineering programs supporting the DoD Aerospace Industry. Come support our work with the UASPO and join a world class team of groundbreaking scientists and engineers!Details below!Essential Job Responsibilities- Government Property Lifecycle Management - Serve as the primary liaison for managing the complete lifecycle of government property including receipt, identification, tracking, transfer, and disposal in accordance with FAR Part 45 and DoDI 5000.64; maintain accurate records across various systems and Accountable Property System of Record platforms (i.e. ELMS, GCSS-Army, Maximo)
- End-to-End Supply Chain & Logistics Operations - Control the flow of raw and finished goods, services, and information from point of origin through manufacturing receipt to customer placement; ensure execution and continuous improvement of logistics processes including replenishment systems, data interchange systems, demand management, and electronic data systems administration
- Audit Compliance & Documentation Management - Conduct inventories, reconcile discrepancies, and serve as the primary audit point of contact for FIAR compliance activities; prepare and maintain critical documentation.
- Strategic Planning & Process Optimization - Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize equipment readiness, transportation, and warehousing; analyze workflows to identify bottlenecks and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance while meeting customer service objectives within financial constraints.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Collaborative Problem-Solving - Build strong relationships with government property administrators, program managers, manufacturing teams, suppliers, customers, and field sites; proactively resolve delivery issues and integrate market intelligence to support equipment fielding, redistribution, reset operations, and continuously improve competitive position.
Minimum Qualifications- 15+ years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 13+ years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 19+ years relevant experience.
- Proficiency with Accountable Property System of Record platforms (ELMS, GCSS-Army, Maximo)
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and adaptability in dynamic operational environments
- Effective interpersonal skills for working with diverse government, military, and contractor teams
- Knowledge of DoDI 5000.64, FAR 52.245-1, and standard military logistics regulations
- Experience with data interchange systems, demand management, and electronic data systems administration
- Demonstrated ability to manage delivery schedules and resolve logistics issues across multiple stakeholders
- Experience integrating cross-functional market intelligence to drive process improvements
- Possess strong listening, written, and oral communication skills.
- Competence in MS Office and related software/programs.
- Security Clearance: Possess an Active Department of Defense Security Clearance (required at hire)
Preferred Requirements- 15 years of logistics support for a Department of War customer
- Experience supporting US Army Program Executive Office - Aviation
- Proven track record of implementing continuous improvement initiatives in logistics operations
- Program Management experience or certification
- Defense Acquisition University certification for Life Cycle Logistics
Physical Requirements- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and move equipment during inventories, inspections, and property transfers
