Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Research, Operations Engineering, or other relevant fields, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in logistics, warehouse management or material handling.
  • 3 years of experience in people management.
  • 3 years of experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and leading Inventory Management Systems (IMS).
  • 3 years of experience with shipping terms (Incoterms), hazardous material handling (DOT/IATA), and warehouse operations.
  • 3 years of experience managing cycle count programs and maintaining inventory accuracy.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Master's degree or PhD in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Materials, or a related engineering field.
  • 10 years of experience in logistics, warehouse management, or material handling, with 6 years in a management role.
  • Experience with data analysis in quality, reliability, and manufacturing production.
  • Familiarity with Free Trade Zone (FTZ) operations or international customs processes.
  • Proven track record of modulating inventory controls (reorder points, safety stock) within a fast-paced, high-growth manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to use data from the ERP to justify headcount, equipment, or space requirements as volume increases.

Responsibilities
  • Enable standardized warehouse management including Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Inventory Management System data integrity, proactively modulating safety stock parameters and leading cycle counting and annual physical audits.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Planning, IE, Facilities) to optimize warehouse layouts, scale physical capacity, and implement Vendor Managed Inventories (VMI), partner with equipment engineering and maintenance teams on vendor coordination and tracking of refurbishment, repair and cleaning of various spare parts and components.
  • Deploy Lean/Six Sigma methodologies to eliminate waste, reduce dock-to-stock cycle times, lead and mentor various operations team and foster a safety-first culture (DOT/IATA).
  • Establish operational governance by authoring Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), codifying shift handoffs, and standardizing escalation paths.
  • Manage and execute daily domestic and international shipping operations, ensuring carrier SLA compliance, export/import clearances (Incoterms), and Free Trade Zone (FTZ) protocols.
