The Location Controller - Manufacturing is responsible for financial controlling in a production environment, ensuring accurate cost management, performance transparency, and operational support. This role partners closely with plant leadership and cross-functional teams to drive efficiency, cost optimization, and continuous improvement. The Controller also supports tariff-related processes by improving tracking, documentation, and overall process reliability.
Key Responsibilities: - Oversees manufacturing controlling activities, including standard costing, variance analysis, KPIs, forecasting, and cost center performance management.
- Supports monthly closing activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, reporting, and analysis.
- Prepares and analyzes monthly financial reports and supports annual budgeting and forecasting cycles.
- Analyzes production performance, identifies cost drivers, and recommends optimization opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
- Partners with operations, supply chain, engineering, and finance teams to ensure accurate cost data and support decision-making.
- Drives process improvements and strengthens internal controls across manufacturing and finance workflows.
- Ensures compliance with corporate policies, internal standards, and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Provides ongoing financial guidance to plant leadership to support strategic and tactical decision-making.
- Performs additional duties as required to support financial and operational goals.
- Ensure compliance with company environmental and quality management systems, including ISO 14001 and IATF 16949 standards.
- Supports and improves tariff-related processes, including tracking tariffs paid, reimbursed, invoiced, and received.
- Ensures transparency and completeness of tariff data, including documentation, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Collaborates with internal stakeholders and external partners to streamline processes and enhance accuracy.
- Identifies opportunities to automate or simplify tariff-related workflows.

What We Are Looking For: - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 5+ years of controlling or financial analysis experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP); strong understanding of manufacturing cost flows.
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with data visualization tools is a plus.
- Exposure to tariff or customs topics is preferred but not required.
