Full Job Description
Drive Credit & Collections Excellence

The Local Process Expert role will contribute to the strategic direction, development, implementation and harmonization of standard Credit & Collection processes and practices for Hilti North America. The Process Manager is responsible for business process improvement projects for Global and designated Executive Management Team members (CFO). This position is identified as a development position for manager candidates.

What You'll do

  • Manage process development, documentation, review and improvement and implementation by delivering advice, coaching and support to align local processes with global processes.
  • Use creativity and leadership skills to find solutions while developing, tracking and executing detailed projects plans for major initiatives (global and regional) to make sure they occur in an aggressive timeline, while utilizing best practices and LEAN methodology.
  • Manage and integrate various stakeholders throughout the organization with complex issues.
  • Provide leadership in the documentation, implementation, and complete ownership of multiple business process improvement projects.
  • Utilize Shop Floor Management and LEAN/Six Sigma practices ensuring policies and procedures are being implemented consistently, and best practices are shared for conscious improvement and outstanding results.
  • Identify process discrepancies, provide suggested solutions and take coordinated actions with responsible team members to achieve measurable results.
  • Guide the Lean transformation and change process within Credit & Collection by actively developing implementing lean initiatives.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Business, Finance or a related field
  • A minimum of 5 years of prior experience in credit and collections
  • Thorough understanding of Credit & Collections competencies, business analysis methodologies and proven project leadership experience
  • Excellent presentation & written/verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem solving, organization and time management skills
  • Ability to integrate Lean/Six Sigma best practices, perform root cause analysis, and define/implement sustainable solutions
  • Excellent verbal, presentations, and written communications skills to all external/internal customers, peer groups and upper management
  • Strong planning and implementation skills (ability to manage timelines and multiple prioritize simultaneously)
  • Possess a continuous improvement mindset
  • Competency in LEAN & AGILE methodologies, preferred
  • Motivate and generate results through influence, coaching and teaching
  • Advanced level skills in SAP and BI, including the ability to troubleshoot and provide systematic solutions within an existing SAP platform
  • Must have strong analytical skills with a high attention to detail
