*This is a HYBRID position working out of our Atlanta area offices.

The Local People Partner (LPP) will support employees and managers across assigned business groups within Hexagon's Infrastructure & Geospatial Division. This role is responsible for providing day-to-day HR partnership and support focused on employee relations, onboarding, and employee experience, culture and engagement initiatives, performance support, and HR operations collaboration.

This position reports into the Americas Local People Partner team and works closely with Centers of Excellence (CoEs) including Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Learning & Development, and HR Operations.

The ideal candidate is approachable, collaborative, organized, and comfortable balancing employee support with business needs in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a trusted HR partner for employees and managers across assigned client groups
  • Provide guidance and support on employee relations matters, performance concerns, workplace issues, and policy interpretation
  • Support onboarding activities to ensure employees have a positive and successful transition experience
  • Partner with managers on employee engagement, team culture, communication, and retention efforts
  • Conduct employee check-ins and support action planning related to employee feedback and engagement surveys
  • Collaborate with Centers of Excellence (CoEs) including Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Benefits, Learning & Development, and HR Operations to support business and employee needs
  • Support managers with performance management processes including feedback conversations, coaching, and development planning
  • Assist with organizational changes, workforce updates, and employee communications as needed
  • Maintain accurate employee documentation and ensure compliance with company policies and employment practices
  • Help coordinate training initiatives, employee programs, and culture-building activities
  • Support HR projects and initiatives across the Americas People Partner team
  • Foster a positive, professional, and inclusive employee experience


Desired Skills

  • 4+ years of experience in Human Resources, Employee Relations, HR Business Partnering, or People Operations
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred. HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR, etc.) is a plus.
  • Strong employee relations and manager coaching experience
  • Experience supporting onboarding, employee engagement, and workplace culture initiatives
  • Ability to build strong relationships and establish trust with employees and leaders
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable navigating change in a matrixed and evolving organization
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information professionally
  • Self-starter with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities
  • Experience working with HR systems and collaborating across HR functional areas
  • Prior experience supporting technology, sales, or professional services organizations is a plus
