Qualifications

  • Experience in handling depositions, pretrial motions, and litigation from start to finish.
  • Skilled in drafting complex pleadings and motions, including class certification and settlement agreements.
  • Ability to work both independently and as a part of a team.
  • Expected to manage cases independently under partner supervision.
  • Desire to grow with the firm in a dynamic legal environment.
  • Class Action experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Handle employment law cases from inception to resolution.
  • Conduct depositions and manage pretrial motions.
  • Draft pleadings and complex motions effectively.
  • Collaborate with partners on case management and strategy development.
  • Work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment.
  • Engage actively in case management and contribute ideas and opinions.

Full Job Description
LOCATION: West LA/Hybrid/Remote

PAY RANGE: $150K - $200K+

  • 1st Week in office
  • Remote/Hybrid roles available


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 1 to 5 years of experience handling employment law cases.
  • Experience handling depositions, pretrial motions, and litigation work from inception to settlement/verdict.
  • Experience drafting various pleadings and complex motions including but not limited to class certification motions, class-wide settlement agreements, and preliminary/final approval motions.
  • Able to work independently as well as a team player.
  • We give our associates real responsibilities, and the attorney for this position will be expected to be able to manage their own cases under partner supervision.
  • We are looking for someone that can grow with the firm. If you are looking to work in a fast paced yet collegial atmosphere, where your opinions will actually matter
  • Class Action experience is a plus
