Steptoe & Johnson PLLC is actively seeking an associate with 3-5 years of experience to join its high-stakes casualty trial team in Dallas, Texas. Our Dallas-based trial team handles some of the most complex and consequential personal injury and wrongful death defense matters throughout Texas. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside a close-knit team of experienced litigators, assume meaningful responsibility on challenging matters, and gain valuable courtroom experience.
Qualified candidates should have experience defending personal injury and/or wrongful death matters in Texas state courts, strong writing, analytical, and problem-solving skills, the ability to learn quickly, and excellent academic credentials. Experience involving transportation or trucking, construction, premises liability, products liability, or energy matters is particularly helpful. We are looking for a driven, detail-oriented associate who is ready to sharpen their skills on challenging cases, grow into a top-flight trial lawyer, and contribute to a collaborative litigation team. License to practice law in Texas is required.
