About the RoleThe Buyer is responsible for ensuring the continuous and cost-effective flow of LC materials required to support Tate's LC offerings. The role manages sourcing, supplier relationships, and cross-functional coordination to meet customer demand and production requirements. The Buyer drives supply chain efficiency, cost optimization, and material availability to support operational performance.
What You'll DoMaterial Procurement- Maintain ownership of material availability by ensuring timely procurement of materials and services.
- Participate in forecasting and planning activities to support production requirements.
- Understand material applications, usage, and constructability of finished products.
- Coordinate purchasing activities to align with production schedules and customer demand.
Inventory & Cost Management- Monitor inventory accuracy and initiate corrective actions to resolve discrepancies.
- Analyze material costs, market fluctuations, and cost drivers to secure competitive pricing.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and support supplier diversification strategies.
- Ensure accuracy of purchasing transactions in accordance with company procedures.
- Recommend alternative uses or actions to reduce material obsolescence.
Cross-Functional Collaboration- Manage supplier relationships, resolve issues, and monitor vendor performance.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and commercial teams to meet requirements.
- Resolve material shortages and supplier-related issues impacting operations.
- Maintain awareness of how work impacts product quality, safety, and compliance.
Additional Expectations- Remain compliant with the Code of Conduct and Policies which includes the Kingspan Group Compliance Policy.
- Ensure that all duties related to product compliance are adhered to in accordance with the Product Compliance Policy, Laws, Regulations, and market demands.
- Responsible for all tasks to achieve compliance goals and demands of the Compliance Management System.
- Must raise concerns related to the Compliance Management System to their supervisor, manager, or any member of the Leadership Team, or through the confidential whistle blower service.
What You'll Bring- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or related field preferred.
- 2-4 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or related functions.
- Knowledge of purchasing processes, sourcing, supplier negotiation, and cost drivers.
- Experience with material management, inventory control, and MRP systems.
- Ability to read and interpret specifications and technical drawings preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Teams) and related systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Occasional travel to suppliers or facilities as required.

What You'll Get- Pay range: 75,000 USD to 95,000 USD/yr.
